Oakland County, in conjunction with AT&T, announces the "OakGov Challenge" contest. With $10,000 in total prize money provided by AT&T, the contest is designed to encourage those who live, work or go to school in the Economic Growth Alliance (EGA) Region to develop innovative and creative Web-based or mobile applications that enhance government services for citizens. The EGA is an alliance between Oakland, Genesee, St. Clair, Lapeer, and Livingston Counties.

"This is an excellent opportunity to highlight and promote the outstanding technical skills and innovation within the region, and thanks to our partnership with AT&T, it gives some talented individuals a chance to win some prize money." Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson
