The goal of the OakGov Challenge is to develop Web or Mobile applications to stimulate innovation within the community and to enhance government-to-citizen communication and information sharing.  Participants will develop cutting-edge Web and mobile applications that will improve the productivity of people, businesses or organizations working with government. Applications may be designed for use on the Web or for Smartphone platforms.

For use during the OakGov Challenge, Oakland County is supplying data for use in participants' applications.   Although not required, participants may choose to use this data or combine with other available data.   Please visit the Data Download page for a listing of available data and formats.

Judges will award three prizes totaling $10,000 based on the Evaluation Criteria.
